Finding your Inner Peace

To say 2024 came in with a vengeance and a bucket of fool around and find out is the understatement of the year. Today is July 1, 2024, if in fact this year holds the same energy the next 5 months may prove to be an arduous one at best, so today I'm speaking to tips on how to find your Inner Peace.
Yesterday I was handed a statuette of the peace sign, and with the reality of what it meant in that moment it became abundantly clear that it was time for a change. If you have been keeping up, you know that I have had some medical challenges this year and although I am better physically there is still a long way to go to get back to a sense of peace and reclaim some of the lost vestiges of me.
I could take you down the line and run folks' names thru the mud but at the end of the day it would be giving in to the same energy thrown at me and right now in my life I it serves no purpose to match that energy with the energy served to me.
The last few days I found peace and tranquility with hours spent in the garden, there is something magical and very healing placing your hands in the soil and creating the spark for life to flourish and grow. The beauty in the Symbios of taking care of a garden that will take care of you and give you what you need to sustain yourself is true magic.

I was asked recently if it is okay for spouses to have outside interest and I thought to myself how odd of a question when I know for a fact I don't care and often encourage the mister to spend time playing golf or having a guy's night out doing whatever it is guys do. For me it is truly being outside creating something I can incorporate into a meal to nourish our bodies.
I spend a great amount of time and money, research hours, and physical efforts to mission specific projects for the household. I do this all while maintaining household chores, meals, and continuing with my therapies and doctors' appointments with a smile and grateful to be a part of a team.
I keep track of so much data, a password for this, inventory of that, where is this, make sure that is done. Add in doctor's appointment, fighting to keep a job in an organization who has questionable loyalties to good employees. Doctors and other health care providers who don't really care about your health, and family and friends who remember you as an afterthought all of which are mentally taxing.
I am not the woman I use to be I get tired faster than before; my ideas and inspiration escape me if I can't stop in the moment and write them down. I have to work twice as long to accomplish my tasks because I don't move as fast as I use to it's frustrating as hell to be in this body since getting sick and I cry at commercials even when they are not sad.
Through it all I am still grateful to be on this side of sunshine.
My job is the epitome of what it is like to be Just Over Broke, I stayed because I told myself I mattered and although there is great pleasure in helping others learn their roles at the end of the day management is only concerned with production. The realization that you are merely a pawn on the grand chessboard of life is gut wrenching. Who told you, you were special? You have to learn to find your Inner Peace.

When your spouse, partner, mate, companion, or friend don't feel you are mission focused and a detriment to the fundamental principles of a solid relationship you have to find your own inner peace.
When self-deprecating which is self-harming to your spirit are the preferred language to express shortfalls and challenges on top of the challenges you already are internally dealing with you have to find your own inner peace.
The world we live in, the toxicity of the culture, the permeating hate the elite class exercise on the woefully blind and largely unaware population offers a dark future we are unprepared for. You have to find your own Inner Peace.

I would be remised in failing to offer some solutions to go with the mantra of finding your own inner peace. It is in this space I implore you to do the work to exorcise whatever bugs you have festering in your spirit so you can fill those uncomfortable voids with self-love.
